PS Vita Kickstarter or crowdfunded titles

This is simple, Sony and other western major publishers aren't funding PS Vita games anymore. So, it is down to us to back them directly from crowd-funding sources like Kickstarter. Don't chip in and the games won't get made.

Note, some campaigns mention a Vita version if successful, I'll add them in, even if there's no firm details or an official stretch goal. Also, just because a project fails, it doesn't mean it dies - with many continuing development through other means. If a project you've backed does fail, keep an eye on the developer's updates to see what happens next (Pixel Noir being a perfect example).

Upcoming/Live Projects: 13/2/18

CyberThreat (coming to KS soon)

I semi-regularly update the progress for games down the list. Let us know if something changes on a project you follow, or if I'm missing a new one.

Even though some games were funded, it seems the developer overestimated their skills or the power of the Vita. Games like Hand of Fate, BroForce and others drop the Vita version this happens, but don't be bitter at the developers, they try their hardest!

UPDATE: seriously, don't be rude to developers, the grief and abuse they get for trying to bring a project to fruition is staggering. I've read about families struck with cancer, developers being seriously ill and stressed beyond belief. They will try their best to bring a game home, but being abusive only makes things worse. If you invested in a project, that was your choice, let them do their job!

  2. Add-ons aren’t really the point of this Kick starter. You're not pledging to get stuff. You're pledging to preserve history. This isn't a product or investment or even a business venture.

  3. should update a lot of these, some of them made it into funding

  4. Kickstarter is never perfect for equity based funding.

  5. Should we try Kickstarter for fundraising?
