Fight for the future

Polite Plea: After almost seven years and 7,000 articles, you may have noticed the number of stories slowing down here. Time moves on, but I'll always keep posting, as the Vita becomes the new Dreamcast.
However, I do need a new Vita as my launch day model is starting to show its age.
Since I don't have the time or content for a Patreon or YT channel, please consider clicking an ad to help reach my new Vita fund!
Once reached, hopefully in time for Christmas, I will remove all adverts, leaving this island of Vita life an ad-free oasis!

Ratalaika sneaking FPS roguelike One More Dungeon onto the Vita

One More Dungeon is a first person shooter roguelike coming to us via Stately Snail and Ratalaika, with procedurally generated first person levels and pixel-art graphics. A roguelike, originally on PC/Steam, that places you in the shoes of a nameless adventure seeker, your job is to reach the final level deep within the dungeon and destroy the obelisks that are used by forces of Evil to invade his world.

UPDATE: Trophies now listed

If you remember the original Wolfenstein or Hexen, this should toll a few bells, hopefully the Stately Snail folks in Russia can expand the maps up and down for future versions, although the original came in 2015, so perhaps that ship has sailed.

Getting there won't be easy though as lots of enemies stand between you and your goal, but the good news is you can use all kinds of melee weapons, magic staffs, and antique artefacts to blaze your way through.

  • Fusion of old school FPS and Roguelike games.
  • Procedurally generated levels.
  • 30+ types of enemies and 80+ items.
  • A parallel universe with manually created locations.
  • A Sanity level that can reduced by using artefacts acquired in-game.
  • Customisable gameplay in the form of modifiers that can be tweaked prior to playing, to tailor make the gameplay to one of your choosing.

The game is slated for release later this year!
