As I was chatting about the teaser site on Twitter yesterday, my thoughts came to how Shade, developers of Bullet Girls, ended up here. Bullet Girls 2 sold around 17,000 boxed copies on launch, way down on the original's 30K.
What was their recent design meeting like? "Sales are down, lets tweak the concept with smaller boobs and more sensible guns? That'll help, but we've lost the license (presumably) so, let's go with pixies shooting full-size women!"
That's what it looks like we're getting with Gun Gun Pixies, with Compile Heart on publishing duty. Apparently the pixies are aliens raiding a girls' dormitory for who knows what reason.
