PSP2, Switch 2 and an Xbox handheld... a brighter portable future?

Killzone Merc dominates PSN charts, what future for PSM?

The Vita's biggest game so far did pretty well on PSN dominating both US and EU PSN charts for portable games last month. Here's the European list, so far unsullied by FIFA 14, which will hopefully not make much of a dent with that stupid £44.99 price point. I picked up the original FIFA Football for £8 over the weekend, its the same game just with older kits and teams, if you can live with that, why waste £37?

Now the indie scene has burst fully onto the mainstream Vita store, I'm not too sure what the purpose of PlayStation Mobile is any more, except for some mobile conversions, oddball Japanese titles or truly amateur projects. Sony Europe don't even mention them, while Sony US's chart is rather an odd bag.
