Now this should produce some results. Having seen a lot of moaning about the low-key PSM profile and slow addition of content (despite some gems along the way), Sony is making it free to access for developers to help get more games on the Vita and its Android portal.
While the quality could suffer as every coder and his dog stab away, thinking crap graphics can replace subtle design and fart sounds are just as good as classic chip tunes, there has to be some indie genius out there that could take this as an opportunity to make a name for themselves.
Please go read all the stuff at the developer portal before leaping into your first coding project and think up a good idea, either a simple one done very well, or a cool one that would make people go wow.
