Sega's Samurai & Dragons breaks down on launch

Japan's freemium Vita game has been pulled in Japan just days after launch because of server issues. Perhaps the guy running them is among the lay-offs Sega announced last week. The game will be back up in a couple of weeks (April 17) according to a report on Andriasang.

With the Vita's fairly weedy sales base, its unlikely to be massive demand that's dragging down the network, unless Sega seriously underestimated its hardware needs. Even so, two weeks for some new servers is the kind of appalling progress you'd expect from a communist government, not a slick and speedy games merchant.

This is really a shame for New Little King's Story buyers who got a free DVD with some start-up content, they'll be twiddling their dragon thumbs for a couple of weeks.
