PSP2, Switch 2 and an Xbox handheld... a brighter portable future?

Kitana sexes up Mortal Kombat

Wow, if anything could sell a few Vita handhelds, it is this live trailer for the legendary bad-taste fighting game. The fan-wielding Kitana elegantly struts her stuff on the edge of a skyscraper, you don't even need any gore or brutality to sell the game.

Expect this to be another cracker in the Vita's roster of top-notch fighters, joing the likes of BlazBlue, Marvel vs. Capcom and the rest. A neat note that was unveiled at this weekend's Pax East show, Mortal Kombat does not require a memory card. The game saves to the cart, as will any future gameplay tweaks/updates/DLC. It required some extra elbow grease, but NetherRealm studios is thinking of the fans.
